Hello,
There are many who are confused or overwhelmed by the mental, physical, and emotional effects of certain sexual habits.
Masturbation or autofellatio does not permanently damage hormones in a healthy body. Lack of focus, mood swings, and a “foggy” feeling post-ejaculation commonly occur due to dopamine drops and prolactin that rises, causing fatigue and mood dips. These are not permanent changes; they resolve in a few hours to days.
Anxiety or panic attacks triggered by guilt or fear. Irregular heartbeat,
chest discomfort, or heart “unease” that’s not typical from masturbation alone. It could be a genuine cardiac issue. You are advised to get clinically examined by a cardiologist and get all cardiac function tests (screening) done.
Change the way you live, and make friends with sexually healthy people. It is important that you learn to express your urges in a normal way. Sexual guilt and compulsion often lead to spiritual and emotional suffering, but it is treatable. Your symptoms are suggestive that you may be suffering from compulsive sexual behavior or sex-related OCD, as you have a feeling of being 'hunted''.
Do not let your habits interfere with our daily life or work. If it causes you guilt and isolation, do away with such habits, as it is not making you but marring you. You are advised to get connected to a a
psychiatrist or
psychologist for behavioral therapy; they will help you to get rid of guilt, compulsion, or obsession that is strong.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is very effective for sexual compulsions and mood symptoms. Get connected to people who help you connect to God. Read daily scripture and listen to devotional songs; it will help to elevate your standard of living and thinking. Do regular exercise, prayer/
meditation, journaling, and good sleep help restore balance of mind and body.
Be gentle with yourself. You are not broken; your body, mind and spirit will recover. You only need a little determination to quit stuff and walk ahead towards a joyous life that awaits you. Take
vitamin B12, iron, folate, Vitamin D to help focus. Make food rich in omega 3 fatty acids a part of your diet. Switching to a healthy lifestyle is key. If worried, check prolactin,
testosterone, and cortisol levels though it’s unlikely to be hormonal long-term damage.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
