Could Numbness In Left Hand And Arm, Shoulder, Blurry Vision, Headache, Puffy Eyes With History Of Mini Stroke Worrying?

Hi I had a mini stroke in May 2013. I feel like I've never fully recovered from that. I don't remember if I had any symptoms before the stroke. Today my left hand arm and shoulder have been going numb, and I've had a little bit of blurring. My head hurts a little bit, and my eyes are puffy and feel swollen. Should I worry????

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms, and yes, we need to exclude a recurrence of stroke, based on your symptoms.

It would be better to see a neurologist and get a CT scan of the brain done to exclude a stroke.

These symptoms could also be due to old stroke- sensory seizures.

Please consult a neurologist.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
