Could On And Off Cut On Top Of Ears Of Child Be Due To Bacterial Infection?

Hi I m wondering if you could help me figure out what is wrong with my sons ears, My son is 26months old, since his birth he has been getting a cut on top of both ears, it goes then comes back a few days later, the last time this happend one of the cuts was baldy flared and looked more painful then the usual,, until then I assumed it was to do with him sweating (some sort of dermetitous)? I started to use E45 which worked alittle, I took him to the doctors on the last occassion as it was bad, where I seen a nurse who told me it was a bacteria infection,,, its quite confusing because he s had this problem since he was just days old, I asked how he could have this and she simply repilied that she had no explination!! She prescribe him some cream and said it would clear up in this case it hasn t. Would you please give me more of a insight to the problem and some information on the diognosis please as I really do not understand, thank you.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
It is impossible to comment on the diagnosis without having a physical look at the type of lesions. Various conditions of the skin can result in such problems. Request you to consult your dermatologist for a physical examination.
Continue to ask further queries.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
