Could Pain And Discomfort In Lower Abdomen Be Due To Menopause?

I m 45 years old and My dr found a few tumors in my uterus about 5 yrs ago.... Lately, I have started to feel minor pain and discomfort on my left side of my lower abdomen , I haven t had my menstrual period since March and have been experiencing hot flashes. Could this be that I m going through menopause ?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your history and understand your concern. If you are not having any menses than it could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by menopause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Richa Agarwal,
OBGYN
