Could Pain Behind The Ear And Rashes On The Elbows After A Root Canal Treatment Be Interrelated?
Hi. I have had a minor pain behind my right ear, which has now spread to the left ear area. It has been going on for almost 10 months. I did have my ears checked including hearing, and nothing was found. Recently I have had a cold, now on my third week. Including a rash on both elbows. Not sure this condition is related. One more thing. I have had a route canel, and an infection in a lower right tooth, which was treated and the infection did clear up per the X-rays. I feel this is related but my doctor at the VA is not connecting those dots. Also, I did get a botched dental implant and successful bone graft. Could any of this be related?
Pain behind the ears and rash may be due to Infection like viral or bacterial. Root canals with abscesses may spread systemically if not treated properly. Who is having valvular malfunction lead to develop infective endocarditis. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Also check for Lyme's disease or enteric fever etc. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
