Could Pain In Arm And Under Armpit Be Due To Pulled Muscle Or Due To Coughing?

I have had pain in my arm and on my right side under armpit feels like pulled muscle. I've had flu symptoms with bad coughing maybe chest infection, chest sore when coughing. Would the coughing cause the pain on right side. Would it be a pulled muscle or should I be worried it something serious??

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
This is more likely to be due to a pulled muscle. You can do a hot fomentation and take a mild pain killer three tines a day after meals for relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
