Could Pain In Left Side Of Back Near Kidneys Be Due To A Pulled Muscle?

I have pain in my left side on my back near the kidneys. It is extreme pain when I sneeze, so bad that I almost fall on the floor if I am standing up and moderate to severe pain when I cough or turn in bed, but it does not hurt when I press on it. There is no fever, no high blood perssure. Could it be a pulled muscle or should I go to a clinic to see a doctor?

Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
keeping in mind your complain may i ask do you have nausea and vomiting along with pain radiating from back to front ? If yes ,then it's better to get ultra sound scan of the abdomen done.
Mean while you can have drugs in combination of muscle relaxant and pain killer.
I shall be glad to answer if you have further query.
Take care,Dear.
