Have had several small intestine surgeries about 15 years a go for the last .three months I have been having bad pain in the lower belly/ Been to doctors, was told it is muscle weakness and there was nothing that can be done about it. Is this something I have to live with?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about having multiple small intestinal surgeries about 15 years ago, but have started pain in lower abdomen, been to Doctors, they say it is muscle weakness and there was nothing that can be done..
As per the history you have given, it is imperative to get the cause of the pain as it was 15 years that you have intestinal surgeries and now you have pain in the lower abdomen.
Only weak muscles can not cause any pain in abdomen.
Hence I would advise you the following:
X-ray of the abdomen in the standing position.
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen with enteroclysis to see whether there is intestinal obstruction, adhesion and so on or any other problem that needs to be operated or so.
Tests of blood, stool and urine.
To get hte proper diagnosis and have proper management accordingly.
