Could Persistent Vaginal Yeast Infection Be A Matter Of Concern?
I have been treating a vaginal yeast infection for some months now....many attempts with Canasten cream and their related products....the practitioner at the chemist suggested I see a doctor as this continuance may indicate a more serious problem further up within my body....can you clarify this for me pleases?
Repeated yeast infections may , in some persons, indicate that there may be impaired immune system or it may be due to the inadequate treatment of the type of infection present.
It would be best to see your doctor who would be able to take a swab to determine the exact organism causing your infections. Your doctor may also do blood tests such as screening for diabetes, full blood count.
I hope this helps
