Could Pulled Muscle Pain In Neck Be Related To Pain In Head?

I pulled a muscle in my neck left side. I woke up with a sore neck seven days ago. I still have the pain. But a day after that I started experiencing pain on the top of my head the crown area where I can t even touch my hair. Is this somehow connected with the neck pain
