Could Recurring UTI And Radiating Back Pain Be Related To The Tablet, Diovan?

I have been experiencing right side pain on and off, radiating to my lower back and to my spine. Is this related to Diovan 160 mg, 1 tablet once a day, or to Atrovastatin 20 mg , 1 tablet in the evening? Is there also a relationship with recurrent UTI?

hi.

noted history of recurrent UTI and radiating back pain. it may or may not be related to your urinary tract infection. other things that must be ruled-out are the presence of kidney/ureteral stones, gallbladder, liver and biliary tree pathology, pleural diseases and muscular strains. it is best if you consult with a doctor for physical examination and clinical evaluation. diagnostics (such as xray, ultrasound, liver function tests) and management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
