Could Runny Nose With Clear Mucus Be Symptoms Of Something Specific In An Infant?

My ten month old sun is teething and he has a runny nose with clear mucus and his eyes are red and watering. He is taking fluids very well and is still eating fine. He also has loose stools. I was just wondering if all his symptoms are related to him teething.

Hello. Thank you for your question. The symptoms you describe can be due to a mild viral illness, or teething. Neither scenario is anything to worry about. In the case of virus, as long as his behavior is otherwise reasonably normal, it will resolve on its own. The same applies to teething.
