Could Severe Abdominal Pain Be A Symptom Of Ulcer?

I have much abdomenal pain. I have eliminated coffee & other irritable foods. The pain persisists, so I have been on a very bland diet for the past several weeks. I am worried that I may have ulcers. I have an apt. with my reg. doctor tomorrow. Any suuggestions for now? Diane

Hi Diane

Your symptoms may be related with :
-gastric problems like ulcer , gastritis
- constipation
-gallbladder/ pancreatic problems
so If i were your treating docto I would reccomend to do further exams like:
*abdominal ultrasound
*upper endocsopy
* blood work
After that we can discccus the proper treatment
