Hi,

Modus is a medication that contains the hormone progesterone and is often prescribed to treat menstrual irregularities, heavy bleeding, and painful periods. However, Modus can cause side effects, including abdominal pain.

If your wife is experiencing severe abdominal pain during her periods while taking Modus, she needs to consult her doctor. The doctor may recommend further tests or adjust her medication if necessary. It is important not to stop taking Modus without consulting her doctor, as suddenly stopping the medication may also cause adverse effects.

In the meantime, your wife can try taking over-the-counter pain relievers, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, to help manage the pain. Applying heat to the affected area or taking warm baths may also provide some relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Modus is a medication used to regulate irregular periods and treat conditions such as endometriosis and amenorrhea. However, it can also have side effects such as abdominal pain, bloating, and nausea. It is possible that your wife's severe abdominal pain during menstruation could be a side effect of Modus.

She needs to speak to her doctor about this issue, as they may need to adjust her dosage or switch her to a different medication. In the meantime, she can try using heat therapy or over-the-counter pain medication to alleviate her symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
