Could Severe Cough With No Help From Antibiotics Indicate Whooping Cough?

My 22 month old baby has been on various antibiotics for infections etc. but now he has a server cough which seems to be getting worse and I've given him cough syrome for over 2 days now. Iam quite concerned he's got whooping cough. Although he has been immunised. What should I do

It is common for children to have recurrent infections till age of 6 years.
I suggest you to get him examined by pediatrician as physical examination of chest is needed.
