Could Severe Nausea And Weakness Be Due To Mixing Of Antibiotics With Alcohol?

How serious can the mix of alcohol and the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin be? My daughter mixed the two last night, (urinary tract infection) and is now suffering tremendously with severe nausea and weakness. Is there something she can take/drink to ease these symptoms?
