Could Sex Cause Bleeding Again After Having Periods Recently?

I've just had my second child 8 weeks ago. I'm a breastfeeding mother and have had my first period after birth a week an a half ago and it lasted 4 days. My partner and I had sex last night and now I am bleeding again today. Could it be because of sex or ? Thankyou

Hi. It can be due to sex, some cervical erosion causing bleeding or otherwise following delivery, there may remain irregular cycles for few weeks. I will advise you to see your dr. once and get examined and start some contraception as well.
