Could Shortness Of Breath And Chest Pressure Be Due To Stress?
I am a 52 yr old female with high blood pressure, high cholesterol. I am taking meds for this, however i HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH AND SOME CHEST PRESSURE AT TIMES. THERE IS A HISTORY OF HEART DISEASE IN MY FAMILY. i AM WONDERING IF THIS CAN BE FROM SSTRESS

Stress and anxiety can cause shortness of breath and some chest tightness, but considering your age you need to let your doctor know about this.
Were I your doctor, I would order an EKG, chest x-ray, blood work, echocardiogram and a stress test to make sure this isn't a heart problem
