Could Shoulder Blade Muscle Pain Be Related To Throat Pain And Soreness?

For the last week I ve had a sore throat which now feels like its spreads deeper into my throat. My voice is husky because of this and I also have a dry cough. Since this morning I have developed a pain between my shoulder blades which feels like a pulleduscle but I have not injured myself. Could this be related to the throat pain?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have sore throat and cough.The pain be related to cuogh. Because of cough you may have got fatigue of muscles of scapular region between shoulder blades. Treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen.For cough cetrizine is useful. You need antibiotics because you also has ore throat . You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
