Could Sinus Congestion With Swollen Gland On Right Side Of Neck Be Due To Sore Throat Or Sore Tooth?

I have been having problems with a sore tooth but managed to come down with a bad cold and sore throat. I did have a mild fever. After two days in bed, my sore throat is gone and I have sinus congestion; but I noticed my gland on the right side of my neck is swollen. I have never had this before. Is this due to my tooth problem or the cold? My tonsils were removed when I was a young girl.
