Could Sleeplessness, Negative Thoughts And Intention To Cause Harm Be Indicative Of Bipolar Disorder?
I have all the symptoms of being bipolar it seems and I'm tired of hurting my girlfriend , not physically emotionally. I have negative thoughts at all times and can't get out of my head. I can't sleep , I'm up and down , I think about harming myself and others. just think I have some control I just want control over my emotions. I want to think happy thoughts. what do I do?
I think that there is some kind of psychiatric disorder behind all these symptoms, but wether it is bipolar or just depression , it can be confirmed with detailed evaluation. However, as there are thoughts of harming oneself & other person now, so, I must advice that you meet a psychiatrist soon. There are very good medicines available now a days, and with them you will have well deserved relief in few days...You should not try doing more control of your self anymor as it is already going out of hand, and may be delaying treatment will harm you or anyone else....so, please see a psychitrist and discuss the problem in detail.
