Could Spots Around Mouth Along With Cough Be Due To Cold Or Something Else?

Hi , my 2 year old daughter has recently had cold and in the last few days I've noticed she's had small red bump/spots appear around we mouth and a few on her cheeks. Tonight she has a high temperature and is coughing quite a lot. I was just wondering if the spots around her mouth along with the cough could be anything other than a cold .
Thanks for you reply in advance

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Your history suggests that she is suffering from viral fever.
Red spots may be present in many viral fever,
But at this age you have to rule out measles.
In Measles rash starts first on the back of neck, face and the spreads to the entire body in cephalo caudal direction.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
