Hallow Dear,

Though the pregnancy is characterized by absence of menses, rarely in some cases, some bleeding may occur around the expected period of menses. However, even after missing two consecutive periods if your pregnancy test is negative, it is likely that you are having some hormonal disturbance - may be reproductory or Thyroid. Soreness in the breast in such cases could be due to the raised levels of Progesterone.

You may confirm the pregnancy status by more sensitive test like Beta hCG test. Values more than 25 mIU/ml are diagnostic of pregnancy while in non-pregnant state, the values are below 5 mIU/ml. If you are not pregnant, please report to your Gynaecologist for menstrual irregularities. Blood investigations for hormonal profile and ultrasonography will give preliminary clue to the diagnosis.

May be cyclical treatment of birth control pills will help regularize your menses.

I hope this helps you.
