Could Stomach Upset Getting Relief By Vomiting Be Acid Related?

I have had an upset stomach for I believe a few months now. I don't run to the toilet desperate to be ill, but I will feel ill and discomforted until I force vomit or try bring it on mentally. I think I have had flu over christmas, could have been a cold but my stomach has been bad before and now after. I will eat and bring it back up after feeling uncomfrtable, and still feel ill with an empty stomach. I nearly each time feel much better for a little while after vomitting, is this more likely to be acid related? I have been having now sharp stinging or pains.

Hello,

The given symptoms of vomiting and stomach upset could be due to dyspepsia. It is nothing but indigestion, and it may be due to more acid secretion or it may be due to infection, condition can be managed for both hyperacidity and infection and for that I would advise you to have tablet Omeprazole with Domperidone once in day for three weeks and tablet Metronidazole twice in day for five days. Trying to avoid eating spicy food, oily food, fat-containing food heavy meal.
