Don't worry, it is usually safe medication. We usually change Atenolol, when there is slow heart rate and high blood pressure, in such cases we can't increase the dose of Atenolol, but can add medications that don't decrease heart rate. If her blood pressure and heart rate were well controlled with Atenolol, and she has no side effects you can continue with Atenolol as well, anyway Eritel could be better in terms of controlling blood pressure.
Take care
