Could The High Blood Sugar And BP Effect The Growth Of The Child As I Am Pregnant?

Hi I am 32 weeks pregnant I came to hospital due to high blood pressure then they start giving me straight shot to develop the baby lungs after that my blood sugar was very high around 400 they are trying to reduce it but nothing helping yet what ever I eat my blood sugar will be twice I am eating diet food how and I am diabetic with this pregancy So I would to ask what is gonna happen to my baby when my blood sugar is high like this thnks

Persistently raised blood sugars can harm your baby.
The baby can be macrosomic - large for weight.
Also, risk of sudden intra uterine death is there.
This is further compounded by your problem of high blood pressure.
After steroid shot, blood sugars commonly rise.
They would definitely give you insulin to bring down the high values.
Take your medication on time and eat sensibly.
Have rigorous blood sugar monitoring.
Keep a strict tab on fetal movements.
Let the heartbeat be auscultated three or four times a day by the nurses till you stay admitted.
