Could The Multivitamin Tablets Be The Cause For Low BP?
Good Morning Doctor, I am having a history of low bp, I visited the hospital and got my blood test, ECG done. All is normal. My hemoglobin is low. It’s been a week now that my bp got low and I took drips in hospital. But still I feel dizziness and a feeling that I might faint. I don’t feel active and fresh. I did take Supradyn today after breakfast thinking it might help. But I see no difference. Does supradyn multivitamin effect low bp? Or is there any other multivitamin that you suggest? People say B Complex should be there, but I guess supradyn has that. I am a Basket Ball player and want to be fit. This low BP is affecting my sports and daily routine. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Mariam Hyder
Thanks for writing in.The reason for low bp and dizziness could be due to inadequate salt in your diet. consume a balanced diet rich in green leafy vegetables , fruits . consume a good amount of proteins - milk , eggs, meat, pulses. added a little more amount of salt in your salads.
for low hemoglobin consult your physician if any oral iron supplements are required. also you consume vegetables n fruits rich in iron content.
however, mutivitamin supplements donot alter blood pressure.
