General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there,
I can understand your concern. Vitamin D deficiency has been researched a lot lately and many diseases have been linked to Vit D deficiency. In general vit D deficiency may cause symptoms of weakness and muscle aches, bone pains but not these emotional bluntness that you have described. Even B12 deficiency will not give rise to symptoms of lack of emotional response to normal things. You should start with Vitamin D orally and see the effect.
You should visit a psychiatrist who can find the reason for your problem and suggest treatment accordingly. It may not be anything serious but probably psychotherapy will help.
Take care.
