Could The Dark Purple Spot On The Middle Finger Which Is Spreading Be A Blood Clot?

Hi, Yesterday I noticed a pinch in my right hand side middle finger and soon afterwards a dark purple spot appeared. It is now evenly distributed through the the whole finger (back and front) and is lighter in colour. Do you thing it it a blood cloth and what may have caused it. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for using HCM.

Your symptoms are suggestive of collection blood underneath skin, Probably could be due to trauma to finger usually results like this.

If no history of trauma and symptoms are recurring need to get check platelet count and clotting profile to rule out other clotting disorders.

Regards
