Could The Loss Of Vision Be Due To The Lack Of Testosterone?
I have been on testosterone therapy for five years or so and quit taking it a couple of months ago ... I suddenly find that my vision is getting much worse ... I am 68, had open heart surgery in 2000 and a heart attack last June ... Had four stents put in two of my arteries ... Can the lack of testosterone cause my eyes to get worse?
Hello and thanks for your question. It is unlikely that stopping the testosterone is causing your visual problems. There are many causes of worseing vision. It is possible that the problems that caused your heart disease are also affecting the blood vessels to your eyes. Make sure that you get an eye exam soon to see if there is treatment for your worsening vision. Thank you for using HCM.
