Could The Navel Point Be Dislocated While Doing Exercise?

I feel that I might have dislocated my navel point while doing exercise in gym; general physician was not able to completely ascertain it but I feel it internally; please advise whether I should get an ultrasound done or it can be cured through other simpler means - Rahul

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have strained muscles in the area and this is causing your discomfort.

The umbilicus is a scar area and is not likely to be dislocated.

You may want to consider the use of anti inflammatory pain killers to help with your discomfort.

If the pain continues or worsens your doctor may consider imaging such as an ultrasound.

I hope this helps
