Could The Numbness And Tingling In My Right Arm And Hand Due To Lower Back Issues?

My right arm and hand have been numb and tingly - like it feels when a part of your body falls asleep - for approx. 2 weeks. It's constant. I have been diagnosed with lower back issues; herniated discs, compressed discs due to scar tissue. I had an epidural 15 years ago which punctured the dura. I have appointments with neurologists in the next month. Could this numbness be associated with my back troubles?

General Surgeon 's  Response
HI. It is unlikely to have a direct relation of numbness of upper limb with the low-back issues. There can be an associated problem with the Cervical ( neck) spine, an extra rib or so , which needs to be diagnosed with MRI and clinical examination. It is better to take an urgent opinion.
