Could The Prolonged Periods Be Due To The Thickening Of Uterus And A Surgery Needed?

I had long periods last year ,I went through d mc ,I was given primolut n for ten days in a month ,for six months .it was due to thickening of uterus lining upto19mm.i was prescribed trapic mf during periods. Now again after six months of course I had periods for three months for two months no periods now last25 days heavy periods I m prescribed trapic mf for three times in a day that too two tabs. And recommended hysterectomy I.to remove uterus ,please suggest I don t want to go for surgery

Hello,

Thickening of the endometrium (the wall of the uterus) can be an early sign of conditions like uterine cancer. So surgical removal of the uterus is recommended.

So it is always better to proceed with surgery rather than waiting for unwanted complications.
