Could The Redness In Palms And Knuckles Be Due To The Side Effect Of Prenatal Vitamins?
I started taking prenatal vitamins and then 2 hours later, my hands were red in certain areas, on the palms of my hands and around my knuckles, they hurt when warm water touched them and they itched. Could this be an allergic reaction? I stopped taking it two days ago, but my hands still have the red blotches and they are still itchy. Especially at night time.

Some time preservatives of these is medications also cause this type of allergic reactions. You can take tablet like avil or atarax to treat this after consulting with your physician. There are some local application drugs also available. Do not worry this will go. And if you have this allergy better to avoid these medications.
