General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Bloating can be a part of IBS or other digestive disorders. My guidelines at present for your mom
- let her consume bland, vegan diet till possible
- she should avoid all spices, non veg
- regular walking, exercises
- control of blood sugar, cholesterol, body weight
- avoid anxiety
- prescription of medications as Pantoprazole, Itopride sulphate and bulk forming laxatives as per the choice of her consultant for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
