Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Repeated attacks of cough and breathlessness and family history of asthma suggest asthma as diagnosis.
Allergic cough is also possible.
Acute bronchiolitis mimics asthma.
At this age if the duration is prolonged you may think of whooping cough.
Better consult pediatrician for proper diagnosis.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
