Could The Severe Hives On The Back Be Due To The Exposure To Meth Residue?

My son works at a thrift store and one day after receiving and unloading and sorting a large trailer load of stuff, he and another employee developed a horrible case of hives all over their bodies. Could exposure to meth residue, if the stuff was contaminated, cause this kind of reaction?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Exposure to any potential allergen can cause this reaction. It could be related to a wide range of potential contaminants.

He and his colleague may want to consider allergy testing to determine what they caused the allergic reaction.

This can be in the form of blood test or skin allergy testing.

I hope this helps
