Could The Slurring Of Speech Be Due To Low Vitamin B12?

My Mother was diagnosed with low Vitamin B12. Her speech is slurred which I assume is coming from the lack of vitamin B12 because she was speaking fine a day ago. She went into the hospital a few days ago for something else and know this occured. Can this be reversed?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The reasons for the slurred speech may be the ischemia, of the brain, cerebral thrombosis, etc. One day before she may be fine, but it can happen suddenly.
I advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. and other tests for diagnosis .
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, cerebral vaso dilators, and multivitamins.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
