Could The Spasms In The Baby Be Epileptic Or Due To Parental Drug Addiction?

Hi, my friend has a two year old niece. Her father did heroin before she was born. The little girl has spasms where she will straighten her body out, shake, and roll her eyes. Connie wondered if maybe the baby is epileptic, or maybe having spasms from drug addiction thru the father.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
If father is a drug addict the unborn child will not have any problem.
It is not epilepsy if the attacks are not associated with unconsciousness.
Better consult pediatrician for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
