Could The Stomach Bloating With Back Pain Be Due To Banana Ingestion?
I just ate a banana and now i feel abit sick and my stomach is bloated and my back hurts... ive been eating bananas since i was a kid... not alot but occasionally and this happened last time i ate one too... i suppose it might not be related to the bananas but yeh just wondering if it could be and what it is?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of having bloating, pain in back and incidentally you ate banana just before the problem started, although you are consuming banana since childhood. Since you are taking banana since childhood a single banana causing such a problem is not heard of. This definitely is relate to other problems like gastric ulcer on its posterior wall or pancreatitis or severe colitis and eating banana is just co-incidental. I would advise you to consult a Doctor at ER as you may need upper GI Endoscopy and ultrasonography as well as some blood tests to see for the reasons and get appropriate treatment for the same.
