Could The Use Of Pot Be The Causes For Hyperthyroid With Very Low TSH?

our daughter was diagnosed with thyroiditis, and her blood results had shown, hyperthyroid with tsh levels less than 0.03. Her recent blood test showed T3, T4 levels within the normal range and her tsh had jumped to 1.1. WE wondered what had happened, she had the change occur within a 4 week time frame. She just admitted to us, she had been using pot, occasionally. WE are concerned, but wonder. Help

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

He had thyroiditis with hyperthyroidism. But now her T3, T4 and TSH level is normal. So it could be transient hyperthyroidism or there may be wrong result in earlier test. She should repeat her thyroid hormone test after a month and plan accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you very good health.
