Could The Wee Infection Be The Result Of Not Cleaning After The Colonoscopy Bag ?

hello doctor my mother is 79 and has bowel cancer and had a colonoscopy bag put on 16 months ago we now had a nurse who pop into see how she was doing for the first time since she been ill and she told mum that she has a wee infection could you tell me if this is because she not cleaning herself good

Infection would present as severe pus formation or more bowel movements or diarrhoea and fever.

It is wise to get her examined by the doctor who put the bag.
