Could Unresponsiveness In A Person Be A Condition Of Brain Dead?

Good Morning, my dad is 85 years of age he has had all types of testing done and everything has come back fine, no sign of stroke of cancer. His breathing is fine but he unresponsive when we communicate with him, I took him to the doctor yesterday and he stated that he had shrinkage. Is it possible he could be brain dead?

You must have noted your father is weaker now his muslces must be weak and body hearing eye site every thing would have declined this is age effect..

SHRINKAGE OF BRAIN:

Just like all other parts of body brain also deteriorate with age and like his muscles lost ability to lift heavy things his eye sight declines same way ability of brain to work and respond fast gets reduced this doesn't mean brain dead it is just reduced ability of brain to work with age like all other body parts.

CONCLUSION:
he is not brain dead take good care of him its just part of his age related changes...he needs care and love.
