Could Upper Left Gum Pain And Cheek Pain Be Due To Infection?

Hello! My nine year old daughter is experiencing pain on her upper left gum, and she said her cheek hurts. She just received a cleaning and an x- Ray on the 27th of December. She did remove a popcorn skin with floss yesterday which seemed to make it worse. Could it be infected .

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Nothing to worry.
Warm saline gargling will reduce oedema and relief from pain.
Better use an anti inflammatory agent like ibuprofen to comfort the child.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
