Cramps In Lower Abdomen With Little More Food Intake, Thick Elastic Like Strings In Stools. History Of Colon Problems In Family. Suggest
Hi, I am a healthy 31 year old female, the last couple weeks if I eat more a couple bites of food at once my lower abdomen immediately cramps really bad and usually ends with a soft b.m. then this morning I noticed several very thick elastic like strings that accompanied the stool. I'm assuming mucus but not sure why. My diet, exercise, or water intake have not changed. I should add that my father did pass away at 53 from colon cancer and my older sister recently had a benign polip removed from her colon. But, do I really need to be concerned about my symptoms? I don't have a Dr. or medical insurance so I'm not able to go get it checked without just cause. Thank you!
Hi, From your history it seems that you might be having Tap worm infestation. Thick elastic strings you see might be tap worm. Go for stool test and find out the cause. If there is no worm infestation, then consult gastro-enterologist for other investigations. ok and take care.
