Cramps, Migraines. Done Complete Hysterectomy Due To Endometriosis. Can Migraines Be Endo Related? Recommendations?
yeah. I had a complete hyst, due to endometriosis, last may, removal of both ovaries, they had to go thru vaginally, too risky to go thru other way. I was told that cramps were normal and were often referred as " phantom cramps ", but I'm having them quite often, plus I have migraines all the time and my doctor cannot figure out why . Can the migraines be endo-related ? and can endo come back ?
Hello, Thank you for the query.I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Even after complete hysterectomy if you had the implants outside the reproductive organs in pelvic cavity then there is high chance of getting relapse. And there is association with endometriosis and migraine as 2 in 100 women with endometriosis will have migraine due to the harmone imbalance and we usually see such cases in our clinics. I advice you for regular checkups with your treating doctor and follow the instructions given by them. Dont worry much about it as not all will get relapse. Hope this answer is helpful. Thank you.
