Cyst In The Foot. No Redness, Swelling. What Could This Be?

What are simple solutions to ease/ reduce/ or rid a cyst that is located in the foot? There is no redness, swelling or discomfort at this time. I m not sure which properties a cyst is usually ascribed: would it be considered kapha? My instincts tell me a poultice of turmeric, ginger, etc would have a drawing effect-- but I am not sure exactly what type of cyst it is ( ganglion , etc)... advice, please?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having Corn on foot.
If there is a corn then apply Corn cap tightly on the corn and keep it for 4-5 days.
This will soften the surrounding tissues of corn and after applying second corn cap, within 3-4 days will remove corn.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
Ok and take care.

Hello,
Thank you for he query.
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. If you were my patient I will not advice any drainage or excision of the cyst at this time as mostly it will resolves by its own and moreover it is not a discomfort for you. As you mentioned in your query these are ganglion cysts often presents a small oval or round shaped filled with jelly like substance. If the cyst is present on the joint then it will give some discomfort in the movement of that joint and if it compress any nerve you will have pain. But in your case you have not mentioned any of these symptoms and that is the only reason for the advice given by me. But you can always go to a surgeon to get drained or excised if it troubles you. Thank you. Hope this answers your query.
