Cyst On The Ovaries, Pain, In Menopause Stag. Diagnosed Adenomyosis, Mirena Removed. Suggestion?

HI, I am 55 years of age and recently been diagnosed with adenomyosis after years of sever pain. i am in menopause and had all this prior to having my mirina removed earlier this year. I have had pain and spotting with the mirina and without. I have cyst on both of my ovaries and am considering a hysterectomy so I can have a normal life again. My life has been debilitated due to the pain. The pain is getting worse and I recently stopped my HRT. I will be meeting with my MD again on Monday. I am told the only cure is a hysterectomy, should I have a total hysterectomy or only my uterus?
