Dark Brown Blood From Vagina After Sex, Cervix Hit. Had Sex After Years. Worried
Good evening Dr.., My question is this: I have not been sexually active for 5 years, my husband had cancer, so I took care of him and we never resumed sexual intimacy. My husband passed since then. I just started dating one individual (was married for 33 years) Im 51 years old. Anyway I decided to have start a sexual relationship with him, 2 months ago. I never been with anyone other than my husband. However, he did have an affair for 7 years. So lately the llast two times that I have made love with this person, my vagina bleeds .. sore dark brown blood this time. Yes, he does hit my cervix. We sometimes get a little vigorous but, nothing out of the normal. I figured its just that Im still getting used to having sex again. In the 5 years I never had anything inside of me.... literally. I know this is probably more than anyone bargained for this evening. Worried.... Renae,,,,,,,,

Bleeding after sex may be due to many reasons like problem in cervix,uterus,STD,infection,trauma etc.
You are 51 years old, So You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,RBS,urine RE/ME, ultrasound of abdomen, further investigation may be done if needed.
Treatment can be done after clinical examination and investigation reports.
You should consult your gynecologist.
