Dark Brown Vaginal Discharge After Flu With Soreness

Hi! I had the flu a little over two days ago. It lasted from around 6 days and on the last day I started having a vaginal discharge that was dark brown/red and I was very sore. It has now been two weeks of this discharge and i m not sure what is going on. I was supposed to start my period a few days and the discharge flow hasn t really changed much so I don t know what it could be. It was light and then it got heavy with really bad cramps and now it s light again but I still have to wear a pad. I m worried what s going on.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such vaginal bleeding could be due to hormone changes, and second it may be due to age too, and this may not be due to flu, and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
